الأهلي نجح في التتويج بلقب الدوري المصري الـ 42 بعدما هزم الزمالك أمس أمام أسوان بهدف نظيف في المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين في إطار مباريات الجولة الـ 28 من الدوري المصري.

ونشر كاف علي حسابه الرسمي بموقع التغريدات القصيرة “تويتر”: “من جديد، أكد العملاق المصري الأهلي هيمنته على ساحة كرة القدم المصرية محلياً”.

وتابع: “حين عزز رقمه القياسي في مسابقة الدوري المصري الممتاز بالفوز بلقب موسم 2019/20 للمرة الـ 42 في تاريخه والخامسة على التوالي”.

ويستعد الأهلي لملاقاة مصر المقاصة اليوم السبت في المباراة التي ستقام على استاد القاهرة، في إطار مباريات الجولة الـ 28 من الدوري المصري.

جدير بالذكر أن الأهلي حقق لقب الدوري المصري للمرة الخامسة على التوالي والـ 42 في تاريخه.

Tottenham’s hopes of progressing in the Champions League were boosted following an excellent win against Borussia Dortmund.

With Danny Rose’s long-term future at the club uncertain, Doherty would give Ben Davies some much-needed competition at the back. He loves to get forward, helping his side’s cause with three goals and four assists so far this season, however, he must work on the defensive side of his game to succeed in north London.

Approaching the prime of his career, the former Southampton boss could be the man to help him rediscover his early season form.

Away from the controversy over Motherwell’s goal at Celtic Park, the debut of Ewan Henderson was somewhat overlooked.

The 18-year-old has made a couple of substitute appearances but starting an SPFL match with Celtic’s lead at the top down to five points was a real vote of confidence from Brendan Rodgers, who was without Scott Brown and Callum McGregor in the centre of midfield.

Henderson teamed up with Nir Bitton and put in an outstanding performance full of many highlights. His passing and awareness was recognised by fans and team-mates alike as Celtic enjoyed a 4-1 victory despite making five changes to the side that impressed against Valencia.

There was no need to put a minder alongside the academy kid as he played a full part in the victory including the low driven cross for Odsonne Edouard to head in the second goal.

After Motherwell pulled back a goal Henderson kept a cool head despite the emotions all around, with Celtic scoring two late goals to restore their eight-point lead at the table’s summit thanks to a 4-1 victory.

There will be bigger tests ahead for Henderson but after Sunday, Rodgers knows that he has another in-house talent to work with alongside Kieran Tierney, James Forrest and Callum McGregor.

قرر اتحاد الرابطة الإنجليزية، تأهل نادي توتنهام هوتسبير لدور الـ16 من بطولة كأس رابطة المُحترفين الإنجليزية، بعد إلغاء مباراته أمام فريق ليتون أورينت في دور الـ32 بسبب فيروس كورونا “كوفيد – 19”.

المباراة كانت من المُقرر أنّ تُقام قبل يومين، ولكن ثبت إصابة أكثر من لاعب في أورينت بـ كورونا، لتُقرر الرابطة تأجيل المباراة.

ونقلت هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية “بي بي سي”، بيان الرابطة، والتي أوضحت أنّه تقرر إلغاء المباراة واعتبار أورينت خاسرًا، لعدم قدرة النادي على تأمين العدد الكافي من اللاعبين لإجراء المباراة.

وأوضح البيان أنّه تقرر أنّ يواجه توتنهام نظيره تشيلسي في دور الـ16، الأسبوع القادم.

وبذلك توتنهام سيواجه تشيلسي، يوم الثلاثاء 29 سبتمبر من الشهر الجاري، على ملعب “توتنهام الجديد”.

In February, the BBC reported that EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey will be leaving his role with the football governing body at the end of this season. On March 5th, Sky Sports claimed that the 49-year-old is amongst those being considered to take up the position of chief executive of the FA, taking the place of Martin Glenn. 

Harvey has been a divisive figure in his time at the helm of the EFL. He was at the forefront of a decision to agree a £595 million broadcast rights deal with Sky Sports that many Championship outfits felt undervalued them. On top of that, he was also behind the controversial revamp of the Checkatrade Trophy, allowing Premier League club youth sides to enter the tournament.

وشهدت المباراة التي انتصر بها الزمالك، احتساب ركلتي جزاء وإلغاء أخرى، وطرد التونسي فرجاني ساسي لاعب القلعة البيضاء.

وعلم “بطولات” أن الحكم أمين عمر دوّن في تقريره أن فرجاني ساسي تعدى عليه لفظيًا، فضلًا عن محاولته التطاول عليه بالأيدي.

Loads of Crystal Palace fans have been running the rule over their defeat against Brighton, and they are not at all happy with former fan favourite Patrick van Aanholt.

As has so often been the case at Selhurst Park this season, Palace dominated Saturday’s match against the Seagulls but barely mustered a single clear-cut chance.

Roy Hodgson’s decision to start three workhorses in midfield backfired again, as superb goals from Glenn Murray and Anthony Knockaert gave the visitors all three points.

The gaffer is taking plenty of stick for his team selections at the moment, but one of the biggest problems has come in an area where he doesn’t really have other options to choose from – left-back.

Van Aanholt is a very popular figure in south London thanks to his passion for the club, ability to add goals and assists from defence, blistering speed and of course his entertaining social media presence.

However, the 28 year-old is enduring a horrific run of form, and scored just a 6.32 on Whoscored’s player rating system on Saturday.

He was way too relaxed in allowing Knockaert to cut inside onto his stronger foot and score the winner, and the Twitter reactions down below are well and truly fed up with the Dutchman…

Aston Villa are right in the hunt for a play-off place in the Championship this season and they may have received an injury boost just at the right time with Henri Lansbury returning to full training at the beginning of the week.

Birmingham Live reported that he was back on Monday afternoon before Villa confirmed the news via their Twitter account.

However, despite his imminent return to first team action, some Villa supporters have used the opportunity to take a dig at the midfielder’s injury history, rather than looking forward to him getting back on the pitch.

The Mirror understands that Lansbury is on £40,000 and given he’s barely played, he hasn’t exactly warranted that figure. As a result, a certain supporter took the opportunity to claim he owes the club for the last couple of years.

The former Nottingham Forest man appeared as a substitute in the Second City derby back in November when Villa beat Birmingham in the Championship, only to hobble off just eight minutes later with a hamstring issue.

It’s an injury problem that certain segments of Villa supporters have now used against the 28-year-old who hasn’t shown his true promise after arriving in 2017.

Lansbury has played only three times in all competitions this season, making just one start, which came in Villa’s Carabao Cup defeat to Burton back in August. The Arsenal academy graduate has struggled with injury all season, making as few as two substitute appearances since.

Injury setbacks have been a theme of Lansbury’s spell with the Midlands club, with the midfielder featuring in just ten league games last campaign too.
